This course follows the Mindfulness-based Living Course (MBLC) and is ideal for those who wish to continue developing their Mindfulness practice in order to hold inner experiences with warmth and kindness. It includes training first in self-compassion, then compassion for others and compassion in action. The themes of the 8 weeks cover: 1. Why Practice Compassion? Because we suffer... 2. The Compassionate Mess 3. It's not our fault - an Evolutionary Perspective 4. Creating Conditions for Safeness 5. Befriending the Self Critic 6. Finding the Compassionate Friend within 7. The Four Immeasurable Qualities 8. Compassion for Others - Tonglen The cost includes instruction, detailed notes and digital access to all the compassion practices. A 50% deposit secures your place. Scholarships are available on request. Courses are run online in 2020.
