The last two years have been a roller coaster ride, with the ground disappearing beneath us. When there’s no ground… you might as well dance!

During this Start Afresh moving meditation, we’ll explore how to meet each moment of our lives with a clear intention, not just at the beginning of the year, but every day. By becoming receptive and open, we'll rebalance and align, and resource ourselves for whatever lies ahead.

Lucy Draper-Clarke (@lucyheartmind) will guide you through the five stages of an Expressive Movement wave, in preparation for a year of inner well-being, whatever the external circumstances. Our intentions are dynamic and evolve with our deepening practice, awareness and insight. We will learn to create the conditions for clarity to arise, enhancing the ability to tap into our innate wisdom and compassion. Times of silence and solitude, as well as moments of movement and deep connection with others, will help us make the subtle adjustments required to live in greater alignment and joy.

Expressive Movement is an embodied practice of self-exploration, a movement meditation. There are no choreographed steps. No getting it right or wrong. All that is required is that you stay present and listen for how your body wants to move. No prior dance experience is needed. We were made to dance. Everybody is welcome.  Class ‪starts at 6.30pm SAST (‪4.30pm UTC). The Zoom room will be open from 6:15pm if you want to test your sound and ease in before the class starts.
