Amidst life’s complexities, we can return to the simplicity and balance of the eternal moment. The infinity symbol is found in many ancient cultures, from the ouroboros of Egypt and Greece, the endless knot of Tibet and the Celtic knots of ancient Europe. Said to signify the cycle of death and rebirth and the interconnectedness of all things, these symbols points to our inner journey of endless transformation. During an Expressive Movement wave, we will focus our attention on the present moment yet, through that portal, explore the limitless of our potential and the endlessness of the possibilities around us.

During this curated music set, you are invited to follow your body’s impulse to move. Expressive Movement is an embodied practice of self-exploration, a movement meditation. There are no choreographed steps. No getting it right or wrong. All that is required is that you stay present and listen for how your body wants to move. No prior dance experience is needed. We were made to dance our way through endings and call forth new beginnings. Everybody is welcome. I invite you to share your infinite movements during this Thursday Expressions.
