Join Lucy Draper-Clarke for this week’s #ThursdayExpressions to hold your body and heart in gentle awareness. Our bodies hold our history and our future; in our posture, our scars, our laughter lines, in the way we stand, walk and dance. Let this moving meditation be a holding space for you.

#ThursdayExpressions is a drop-in movement meditation class facilitated by an Expressive Movement facilitator. In this hour-long class, the facilitator will guide you to follow your body’s way through an Expressive Movement Wave using a curated music selection.

Expressive Movement is an embodied practice of self-exploration, a movement meditation. There are no choreographed steps. No getting it right or wrong. All that is required is that you stay present and listen for how your body wants to move. No prior dance experience is needed. We were made to dance. Everybody is welcome. Join us online every Thursday at 6:30pm SAST (UTC + 2). All are welcome. No previous experience is needed. We were made to dance. The Zoom room will be open from 6:15pm if you want to test your sound and ease in before the class starts.

Classes are offered on a sliding scale. If the full fee is beyond what you can afford right now, feel free to select the reduced fee option. If you are in a position to select the "Pay it Forward" option, you will be helping us offer free or reduced spots to others. Please select according to what feels right for you at this time.

Class fee: R100 Full Fee | R60 Reduced Fee | R140 Pay it forward (Full Fee + Pay it Forward contribution).
